Funsho Aroniyo-Owohunwa is a Canadian licensed Physical Therapist. He graduated in 1992 from the University of Ibadan and the University College Hospital Nigeria. He has a broad-based experience in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, ranging from Orthopedics to Neurology with a distinctive flair for post-operative and sports related injuries.
His formal education is complemented by over 20 years of clinical and teaching experiences in Nigeria, Jamaica, United States of America (practicing in New York, New Jersey, Michigan and Texas) and Canada (Ontario and Alberta).
Funsho began his distinguished career as an NYSC Physical Therapist in Nigeria in 1991-92, became the clinical director of Crystal Specialist Hospital Rehabilitation Department Lagos, until relocating to Jamaica in the early 1990's, where he rose to senior rehab lead/assistant to the head of department. He joined the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in 1999, American Physical Therapy Association in 2000 and Alberta Physiotherapy Association in 2001. He became amember of the APA Board of Directors in 2008.
Funsho is a strong advocate for evidence-based practice and enjoys working with all diversified groups of people. His strongest attribute is making his patient smile at all time. He puts the FUN into the SHO (W)!
